The visionary work of my grandpa, the renowned philanthropist Late Vallabh Chand Ji Daga, is where our narrative starts. He introduced the beautiful technique of Bandhani to Jodhpur, laying the groundwork for our family business. He had a keen sense of opportunity and an enthusiasm for traditional craftsmanship. He placed our craft in one of India’s most vibrant commercial centers by deliberately opening an office in Mumbai after realizing the potential to spread awareness of our rich cultural legacy beyond regional boundaries.
The requirement for increased production capacity increased along with the demand for our genuine Bandhani textiles. My father, L ate Hukam Chand Ji Daga, made a significant move in 1978 when he established a factory in Basni, Jodhpur. We were able to fulfill an increasing number of requests from discriminating customers worldwide thanks to this facility, which became a pillar for quality and innovation.
